In addition, it had also grown more popular in recent times due to its advantages such as high durability, easy installation, low maintenance, and water-resistant which are essential for flood-affected homes in Malaysia. Since vinyl flooring is made of 100% PVC, they are water resistant, and would not absorb any water or get damaged if submerged underwater for an extended amount of time. We offer our RAHMAH vinyl flooring packages according to area types, based on Normal bedroom (100 sqft), Master Bedroom (144 sqft), Kitchen (180sqft), Living Room (200 sqft), and Storage (80 sqft). As a disclaimer, the sizes we use to represent the area are based on the average size we are asked frequently asked by our customers. Each of our vinyl flooring RAHMAH packages comes with glue together with it as well. So, all you need to do is buy them, and install them in your home!
As you can see above, these are only few of the packages that we displayed, while others can be found by clicking the product name! Our RAHMAH vinyl flooring packages come with 3 different glue types such as Aqsa Double-Sided Tape, Aqsa Greenbond Vinyl Glue, and Aqsa Waterproof Glue. Each glue had its specialty and uses according to subfloor and area types. Here is an explanation for you if you didn’t understand the glue choices suitability:
- Aqsa Double-Sided Tape –
- Unlike any other tape that can be purchased out there, our Double-Sided Tape is RnD’d (researched and developed) by ourselves with the special ingredients of wire mesh to enhance its durability and adhesiveness. It is very suitable for a temporary area (rental home per se). It is also a good option for glue replacement in case of flooring pieces detachment. It doesn’t leave adhesive residue, but it is a bit costly and covers smalls area for a single tape.
- Aqsa Greenbond Vinyl Glue –
- This is a standard issue vinyl flooring glue, suitable for most areas and subfloor conditions except subfloor with moisture problems. It is not water-resistant and will lose its adhesive (stickiness) strength over time. It can cover a large area and saves cost but Its downside is, if your subfloor is marble or tiles that you love, please don’t use this glue as it will leave residue that takes time to clean.
- Aqsa Waterproof Vinyl Glue
- Although vinyl flooring is naturally resistant to water, most of its glue doesn’t; hence our waterproof glue is there to solve the problem. Normal glue such as our Aqsa Greenbond Glue can dissolve when exposed to water for a long period of time, thus why we highly suggest those whose areas are moist (the floor or subfloor seems a bit wet) and those who want to use vinyl flooring in the bathroom or toilets to use this glue.
Hopefully, this glue explanation will help you understand that each area had its own condition and ‘terms’ that need to be met before using vinyl flooring, thus why we highly suggest you to get-to-know your area or spaces before going out to look for flooring options.
